FV Mods's video: Downtown Zagreb Croatia after the 2020 Earthquake

Music credits: Dreamstate Logic - Silent Universe / http://www.dreamstatelogic.com The video was shot on April 2nd 2020 with my Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone camera, and this is the ultimate reason why it may have been the best quality, but I tried as hard as I could to establish a decent ratio with this kind of means of tech filming. Visuals are quite graphic and do not even scrape the surface of how devastating, but yet interesting and weird, it felt in person. Specially, the area I considered to have had its soul touched, in an honestly bad way, was the part with the main ban Jelačić square and Cathedral's torn south tower - but same applies to all tighter downtown area of the city at the moment, which is why I hope it comes back to normal! I am just certain that nothing will ever be the same again, no matter how much recovery it gets, nothing touches the original state, but that doesn't mean it cannot be better, for me it comes down to foundation nostalgia because it is where I spent my childhood, went to primary and secondary school, and lived in 3 apartments, where one of each of the displayed locations in this video were visited almost daily by me and my family. The main intent of the footage was to purvey the state the city has found itself since the earthquake disaster on March 22nd 2020 in 6:24AM with intensity of 5.4 on Richter scale, followed by multiple aftershocks, which all combined devastated the area. Given that the pandemic was also on the front lines of main concerns as globally, same here in Croatia, a lot of lives were probably saved (from this earthquake) thanks to the mentioned event that the world is still struggling with, but yet so many were lost as well, and we all hope no more are lost from this point.
