Should phones be banned in schools? Philippine senator Win Gatchalian is planning to file a bill to ban the use of mobile phones during school hours from elementary to senior high school. Gatchalian says students are growing too attached to their phones and distracting them from their studies. Banning phones in schools, he says, may encourage students to read more books instead.
