@10 Most Fearless Animals In The World
Today, we’re bringing you the 10 Most Fearless Animals In The World. What’s up thrill-seekers and welcome to another episode of FactsJunkie. Fact: The world is full of ferocious creatures you probably wouldn’t want to encounter in a dark alley. Nor do they necessarily want you to enter their personal space or territory. Crossing one of these dangerous animals could get you stung, rammed, bitten or scratched by a set of claws that will cut into your flesh like a hot knife through butter. But perhaps the most dangerous creation of mother nature is an animal so brave it has nothing to lose. On that note, we’ve rounded up some of the most fearless animals you should never, ever, underestimate. ► Subscribe For New Videos! ► https://goo.gl/XPOHAZ Watch our "7 Bizarre Animals You Won't Believe Exist" video here: https://youtu.be/067_h372BoE Watch our "9 Most Beautiful Horses In The World" video here: https://youtu.be/gulN2d_dL-U Watch our "8 Animals That Can Actually KILL a Lion" video here: https://youtu.be/zDCauDOrOuA Number 10 Harpy Eagles A symbol of strength and honor in many countries, the mighty bald eagle is probably the most fearless bird you can think of. And although they look cool on the back of a motorcycle jacket, the bald eagles are actually rather lazy, preferring to scavenge their lunch from others. It’s the rare and mysterious Harpy Eagles you want to watch out for. With their fearless attitude, these raptors can strike terror into the hearts of many species in its habitat. They particularly enjoy killing and eating sloths and monkeys down in Mexico and Argentina where they’re usually found. When those animals aren't on the menu, harpy eagles will hunt for small goats or deer. But since those are too heavy to fly with, they have to tear them into pieces first. These insane looking birds aren’t just tough as nails, they’re also the world's largest eagle by weight. Interestingly enough, the females can reach an impressive 22 pounds, which is almost twice as much as the males. Number 9 The Honey Badger Who would have thought a relatively small creature whose name includes the word “honey” is considered to be the most fearless animal in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records. Don’t let its cute appearance fool you for even a second. The honey badger is notorious for its strength, ferocity, and toughness. They’re known for regularly standing up against and fighting off some of the most fearsome animals in Africa, including lions, hyenas, and highly venomous snakes. Speaking of snakes, the honey badger is not only immune to the venomous bites of some very dangerous creatures, they actually eat scorpions and snakes as part of their diet––along with lions and baby crocodiles. Now if that’s not brave, we don’t know what is! They are also virtually tireless and can wear out much larger animals in a fight. Even if they did end up in trouble, their loose, thick skin would allow them to twist and turn and escape from predators anyway. Even a porcupine’s dangerous quills do nothing to shake the ferocity of a honey badger. Never one to decline a challenge, these feisty little animals indeed deserve the title of most fearless animal species in the world. Number 8 Tarantula Hawk Tarantulas are probably the most feared spiders in the world, and a creature most people would shriek at if they found on in their home. But not the Tarantula Hawk. The Tarantula Hawk is actually a wasp fearless enough to make the gruesome tarantula its number one prey of choice. Not just that. But instead of killing and feeding on them directly, the fearless tarantula hawk first stings and paralyzes these spiders with its powerful venom. While the spider is paralyzed she lays her eggs inside its stomach. This makes for a living protective nest and a rich food source for her young larvae soon to come. That’s right, the spider lives on with little tarantula hawk eggs inside its stomach. Once the eggs hatch, the larvae feed on the spider from the inside out for several weeks. Disturbingly enough, the larvae are instinctively smart enough to avoid chewing on the tarantula’s vital organs until they reach maturity. This prolongs the spider’s life long enough to provide the larvae all the food and shelter they need until they’re ready to fly off and go on to hunt tarantulas of their own. And there's no escaping these bold insects either. A scientific survey found that out of 400 battles between tarantulas and tarantula hawks, the wasps only lost once. ► Subscribe For New Videos! ► https://goo.gl/XPOHAZ Follow Us On Social Media Twitter https://twitter.com/FactsJunkieYT Facebook https://www.facebook.com/FactsJunkieYT ► For copyright issues, send us an email at : factsjunkie@gmail.com
