Faith Matters Foundation's video: Dr Jason Whiting s two big relationship green flags to look for:

1. Respect. Somebody that you hear about just being kind, being nice. Somebody that's thoughtful about someone else's perspective, and they treat other people as though they're important and they're deserving of good treatment. They see the other person as important as they are, and that's conveyed not just in words, but in actions and in the ways people adapt and adjust to each other. 2. Accountability, which means, I can take responsibility for the time that I got a little annoyed or I said something I shouldn't have said, or maybe I was in a bad place that day or whatever. Somebody that will go and have that conversation. That's a healthy way of dealing with conflict. And honesty ties into that, just being really thoughtful and aware of your own level of accuracy and not trying to distort or exaggerate or minimize your partner or exaggerate your own contributions.
