What does that mean? Well, hypothetically, if your intention is to communicate with the dead, this is the time when the natural resistance of the veil will be the easiest to penetrate. It doesn't mean that contact can't happen during other times of the year, its just that THIS time is supposed to be the easiest. Metaphysical aspects aside, Halloween is also a celebration of the Harvest of the growing season. Depending on how far north you live, this time of year can deliver some of the sweetest, most delightful weather, with crisp, cool temperatures, slightly chilly breezes, and a reminder that soon, most things will be frozen over until the spring. So, it's a time to get outside for one last party event. But its the ghostly part of Halloween that truly sets it apart from other outside celebrations and festivals. The folklore and legends of ghosts, have been with us as long as we can remember. So much so that it's just about part of our DNA, or at the very least, part of the collective human understanding of Life. ALL cultures have ghost stories that go way, way back. And, have you ever noticed that even little children, that have only been here for a few years, and have only recently began TALKING, seem to intuitively understand, what a ghost is.
