The KIA Sportage stock audio system comes with a built-in amplifier. When replacing the original factory head unit with the Kenwood DDX9019S, the amplifier that powers up the speakers and subwoofer would no longer work. To retain the subwoofer, the customer opted to install an Alpine BBX-T600 2-channel amplifier.
