The Hawker Sea Fury designed by Sydney Camm and manufactured by Hawker is a British naval fighter-bomber aircraft developed from the Hawker Tempest. The Hawker Sea Fury was one of the fastest production single piston-engine aircraft ever built. The Hawker Sea Fury saw its action during the Korean War in the early 1950s and as well as against the 1961 Bay of Pigs Invasion of Cuba. The maiden flight of the Hawker Sea Fury took place on the 21st of February 1945 and it went into service on October 1945. Primary users were the Royal Navy, Royal Australian Navy, Royal Canadian Navy and the Pakistan Air Force. There were approx. 864 Hawker Sea Fury produced between 1945 and 1955. The Hawker Sea Fury has retired from active service.
