The Hawker Hurricane designed by Sydney Camm and manufactured by Hawker Aircraft is a British single-seat fighter aircraft. The Hawker Hurricane fuselage was a braced steel tube construction with wooden frames and fabric covering. The Hurricane was the first operational R.A.F. aircraft to break 300 mph in level flight; it played a vital role in the Battle of Britain becoming the primary British fighter with60% of the air-to-air kills. The maiden flight of the Hawker Hurricane took place on the 6th of November 1935 and it went into service on the 25th of December 1937. Primary users were the Royal Air Force and the Royal Canadian Air Force. There were approx. 14,583 Hawker Hurricane produced between 1937 and 1944. See more aircraft images at https://goo.gl/dqaZIg
