Fastfwd01's video: South Dakota Summer 2020

My father really, really wanted to see Mt. Rushmore. So, I took him up and tried to plan out a trip to see what all South Dakota had to offer. I was pretty pleasantly surprised to find much more than Sturgis that interested me. The Black Hills are beautiful and we hit it at just the right time (first of September) for some incredible weather during out visit. I didn't title the sights, but ballpark scenes are Badlands, Deadwood, Mt Rushmore, Cathedral Spires, Devil's Tower, Pactola Lake, and there was a big Mustang Rally in Sturgis that brought hundreds of Mustangs to the Black Hills. Not a really great edit. My Samsung Galaxy S8 is really taking a dive as you can see in the video. I have no idea what causes the video to spaz out like it does, but this is my second flagship Samsung device that started failing at around 3 years (gyroscope broke on my S5). This S8 is still less than 3 years old. I'll be switching to Apple next for other reasons and hopefully the hardware will hold up better too. Don't mind my distressed breathing on that hike up Little Devil's Tower. I didn't have a heart attack. My heart should still be pretty healthy despite the lack of cycling this year. It was definitely a workout to lug my full frame and lenses up that trail though. I caught my heartrate at about 146 during one stop, but I know that wasn't nearly the peak it hit on that hike. Whew! Beautiful though. I'm glad I carved out a little time to do it.
