Diana Prince and her friends, her sisters in arms welcome a new girl to Metropolis High, an Atlantean girl from the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, the shy but caring and determined red haired Mera. Like Diana and Barbara, she too is new here in Metropolis just as Diana, who is a demigoddess herself who came from her hidden home of Themiscyra, kingdom of the legendary Amazons, superhuman female humanoids created by the DC comics's Olympian gods as guardians and defense of mankind by spreading peace and love and harmony. Mera is called by her friends as "Aquagirl" back home in Atlantis. In the end, she joins the Super Hero Girls Team lead by Diana aka Wonder Woman herself (who welcomed her) as the newest member. She also befriends another Atlantean, a young superhero, Gareth aka Aqualad. DC Superhero Girls Faustverse verison is created by Lauren Faust, who is best known as the creator of My Little Pony, which focuses on the teenage lives of the young super heroines, Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), Kara Danvers (Supergirl), Jessica Cruz (Green Lantern), Zee Zatara (Zatanna), Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) and Karen Beecher (Bumbleebee) and was owned by Faust herself, and is now on Cartoon Network and Netflix.
