Video From Summer 2016 One of the railroads that CN bought long ago was British Colombia Railroad. There are still some locomotives with the BC Rail paint scheme on the CN railroad. An engine with flat sides, such as the first engine on this train which is a GE C40-8M, is commonly referred to as a cowl. There is also an old Illinois Central engine on this train, which was also bought by CN.
