In the videos linked above, I explain what early or late ovulation is, what causes them and how it may affect your chances of conceiving. In this video I get into the different ways that you can improve your hormonal balance and overall health in order to support you menstrual cycle and get your ovulation happening at a more ideal time. Another way of looking at your "late" or "early" ovulation is that your follicular phase is either on the long or short side. You can break your cycle into two main parts: the follicular phase and the luteal phase. Generally your luteal phase will always be 10-16 days in length no matter the length of your cycle, and so if you have a long or short cycle it is the FOLLICULAR PHASE that is affecting the timing of ovulation.
