ALED JENKINS IN CONVERSATION WITH EMYR YOUNG CARDIFF, SOUTH WALES, JULY 2016 (released on the Ffoton podcast 1 September 2016) Aled Jenkins studied Photography and Film at Plymouth College of Art and Design before working as a photojournalist, specialising in covering conflicts around the world. In 1992, he returned to Wales to train as a television cameraman and has been freelance since 1997 - in demand both in the UK and abroad as a skilled cameraman and documentary film maker. Aled is the recipient of the 2016 BAFTA Cymru award for Best Factual Photography for his work on the BBC series 'Patagonia'.
