HIGH MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE -- 4 DAY 3 NIGHT WITH MY DOG ALONE AT WILDERNESS LAKES -- THIS FISHING WHILE BACKPACKING VIDEO WAS FILMED IN 4K Some of the best overnight adventures are found near the city of Elko. Gracie and I began backpack hiking for trout in Nevada several years ago. As far as mountains go I have found the Rubys are tops. Gracie and I did this in 2018. We started trekking up to Lamoille lake. We stopped and cooled our feet in the creek coming out of it. I did not stay at this alpine water, gives me reason to do another trip. Refreshed, our hike took us over Liberty Pass and down to where we set up our forest camp. The next two days, straight angling with hardly a break. Watch and see how the fish catching turned out.
