The first strong area-wide wave of monsoonal moisture in 2012 hit southern California on July 12-13th. Some good thunderstorms developed around 3AM on Friday the 13th...just before I called it a night in hopes of saving some energy for the morning chase. Few thunderstorms formed west of the mountains after sunrise, but there were some spectacular views across the Southland! Hope you enjoy! :-)
