Filming Nature's Extremes's video: Winchester Mansion - San Jose CA

@Winchester Mansion - San Jose, CA
Supposedly one of the most haunted places in the world - Designed to confuse the spirits of those killed by Winchester Rifles believed to be haunting Ms. Winchester, the once home of Sarah Winchester, heiress of the Winchester Repeating Arms Company stands as one of the most bizarre, interesting (and reportedly haunted) architectural achievements in existence. 40 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, 10,000 windows, 47 fireplaces, 40 staircases, 2 basements, 3 elevators, 2,000 doors, and just 1 shower exist in 24,000 total square feet of mansion! The mansion also has doors that open to walls, staircases that lead to dead ends, and windows that open upside down (just to name a few oddities). Construction never ended on the house, as Sarah Winchester believed that constant construction would keep the spirits from settling in the home. At the time of Sarah's death, the cost of construction was estimated around $5.5 Million, or over $75 Million in today's equivalent.
