Filming Nature's Extremes's video: The Southern Alligator Lizard

@The Southern Alligator Lizard
The Southern Alligator Lizard - A species of lizard native to the Pacific Coast of the United States, the Alligator Lizard derives it's name from it's long head, large scales, and aggressive behavior towards predators, much like an Alligator. The Alligator lizard's bite is much more powerful than that of the common Fence Lizard, and given the opportunity it won't pass up the chance to make a meal of something as large as a newborn mouse! Unlike the Northern Alligator Lizard (another native to California), the Southern Alligator Lizard's tail can grow to up to twice the length of it's body - nearly 20 inches long! Thanks for watching!
