In the first episode of Find Me in Seattle Shorts, I visited Island Soul Rum Bar & Soul Shack in Columbia City. Island Soul has been serving South Seattle for 15 years and is described as Caribbean-inspired soul food, with a blend from the Louisiana Bayou. This black-owned business has an easy system set up for online ordering and pickup to-go orders at their front window. In this week's episode, we picked up food to go and headed over to nearby Seward Park to enjoy the meal. The food we ordered on this trip included: * Jerk Chicken Salad - Red Onions, Tomatoes, Shredded Parmesan Cheese, and Jerk Chicken served in a container on the side * Soul Burger & Fries - Brioche Bun, Beef Burger, Beef Hot link, Bacon, Jerk Mayo, American Cheese, Fried Egg * Side order of Plantains
