Find Me in Seattle (Conner Cayson)'s video: Podcast is Back Where has it been

Hello friends and listeners! It's been a couple of months since I got on the microphone to talk about the world of Find Me in Seattle. As you all are experiencing, it's a weird time. It's scary, and confusing. There is so much going on that has changed the ways we live forever. Between Coronavirus, civil unrest, Black Lives Matter, politics invading every aspects of regular life, and the internet canceling anyone who disagrees, its been tough to want to post content. I have lost any sense of routine the last few months since returning from Thailand. But this show is an attempt at reestablishing that connection. The beginning of this episode talks about the importance of routine and finding those small aspects of a day that can ground us in this crazy life. The one routine both Amanda and myself look forward to everyday is what we call "Morning Hugs" where the first thing we do when both of us are out of bed is give each other a hug. It's been real important in establishing the physical connection between us, because with physical distancing in place, we don't have access to the physical interactions we so deeply rely on. These hugs have become one of the highlights of the day and they've become very important. When I recognized the importance of that little routine, I started to work on new routines. This show is one of them. I have been thinking about getting back here for a few weeks, and now I want to be back. I plan to bring back the former topics of featured meal of the week and featured business of the week. If you have any new ideas, please let me know. In this show I also briefly address the controversy of wearing masks during the COVID-19 Pandemic, the difficulty I had creating content during BLM, and how I am learning more about Leadership from 2020 than I could have ever imagined.
