Remember to Like & Subscribe! Anyway, this music (A.K.A., "Lethal Dose") plays in the final battle against Deathevan (after you use Infinity / Anfini — otherwise it's "Desperate Fight"). My intuition has always told me that the drums and bass were meant to be louder than what we got in the official version. After a lot of digging around (with Nitrodon's help), I've found that this is almost certainly the case. The volume controls for them were as high as they could possibly go, while the other instruments had more medium values. That told me that the sound designers tried to get it as high as possible, but still couldn't quite do it. SNES hardware limitations stymied them. Fortunately, I found a workaround that allowed them to be boosted further—the result is as you see here :) . I'm going to make a patch for this one day—probably with some other tweaks if I can think of them. I'll definitely use this in the final episode of my walkthrough, too.
