Use hook size that obtains this. I'm sorry, I don't remember how many skeins of yarn I used, but it was worsted weight, off white. This pattern starts at the top (neck hole) without the lace trim. Row 1: Ch 90 Row 2: Sc 20, sc 2 in next stitch. Repeat this pattern to complete the row. Row 3: Sc 22, sc 2 in next stitch. Repeat this pattern to complete the row. Rows 4-10: Continue pattern trend above for increasing stitches. Row 11: Dc in first stitch, ch 1, skip 1 stitch, dc 1 in the next stitch. Repeat to complete row. As a general guide, keep crocheting the entire pattern trend above about 3 more times to complete the main body of the poncho. For bottom trim: Row 1: Sc 3, skip 3, ch 3, repeat. Join with sl st to first stitch of the row. Row 2: Sc 1 in second sc stitch, skip 1, dc 5, repeat. Join with sl st. Row 3: Sc 1 between scallops, ch 5, sc in top of scallop, repeat. Join with sl st.
