In order to visit Cypress Gardens, we spent the day at Legoland Florida in Winter Haven. We felt a little out of place not being parents or grandparents, and a little too old to understand the craze. But the gardens were worth the visit, and we ended up being very impressed by the scale models and life-size figures and animals made from Legos, definitely creative works of art. It's first and foremost a destination for young families, but if you have fond memories of the old Cypress Gardens like we do, it's worth visiting and taking it all in.
