The northernmost portion of the Spring to Spring Trail in Volusia County is its most obscure piece. It starts at a curve in a road a couple miles north of SR 44 and continues along the edge of Grand Avenue through the communities of Glenwood and De Leon Springs to end at De Leon Springs State Park. Missing pieces mean short road rides and a stretch of bike lane along Grand Avenue. We used Chuck Lennon Park, just around the corner from De Leon Springs, as an alternative northern trailhead because it is both free and rarely busy. The ride was 7.1 miles.
