A privately owned park open to the public in Lakeland, Holloway Park attracts large numbers of trail runners due to its tough terrain. The park is a reclaimed phosphate mine, so the trails do a lot of climbing. We poked around the hiking trails that loop along the east side of the park near US 98, just north of the Polk Parkway.
