Floridian Elevators's video: BUSTED ULTRA RARE 1953 Westinghouse SIGNAL CONTROL Elevator with POP OUT Buttons in Pittsburgh PA

@BUSTED! ULTRA RARE 1953 Westinghouse SIGNAL CONTROL Elevator with POP OUT Buttons in Pittsburgh, PA
Filmed on October 20th, 2023. Happy Easter Everyone! I hope everyone has had a Wonderful Day today and that the Easter Bunny was good to you! To Celebrate, I figured we'd do so by riding the Elevator I wanted to see when I went up to Pittsburgh! That's right, the FAMOUS Westinghouse Signal Control! This very elevator operates very similar to the Otis Signal Control all except its a Westy, not an Otis (duh) and this is also my VERY FIRST (and quite possibly last!) Westinghouse Elevator I've EVER been on to feature the BLACK version of the POP OUT Buttons! This elevator is the ONLY known one of its kind and could quite possibly be the ONLY Westinghouse Signal Control Elevator in EXISTENCE today (I don't even know of any surviving Otis Signal Controls at this point lol) and so needless to say this elevator was very much my elevator I wanted to see in Pittsburgh as I may never see anything like it ever again and I did everything I could to get on it. As I'm sure you've gathered by reading the title and watching the video, yes I did get busted. Prior to riding this elevator, someone was actively using the elevator, but he stopped and got off on 3. I waited a few minutes for the operator to return hoping and eventually thinking he wouldn't come back, so I then went inside and took this elevator for a spin. As you heard, the guy who was running this elevator yelled "YOOOOOOOO!" which DEFINITELY freaked me out as I knew I'd FOR SURE be busted when I got back down. Much to my surprise, when I first got back down, I didn't encounter the guy, but shortly after I turned off my camera I did. The guy was older and was wondering what I was doing, I explained to him my hobby and my interest in the elevator and shortly after that he said I couldn't be in the building and riding the elevator and that I needed to leave. I did exactly that and I believe on my way out the guy talked to the guard in the lobby. After I was done filming, I checked my footage and as expected due to me being freaked out, my video wasn't the greatest so I attempted to go back and get another take of this elevator a couple times. Unfortunately, when I did that, I was questioned by security and immediately told to leave afterwards. And so here I upload this rather crappy video of this elevator.... I apologize for it not being the greatest, but at the end of the day, I'm just happy I made it on this thing and fortunately there are plenty of better videos of this elevator on YouTube as well. With that said, I hope you guys enjoy the video, and just know that if you do attempt to come here and ride this elevator, do so at YOUR OWN RISK as you could VERY EASILY be busted for inadvertently stealing the elevator from someone using it. Also, even though I'm sure many of you already know where this elevator is, for safety reasons, I will not be leaking the location on this video. Thank you all for understanding and enjoy my crappy but fair video of this VERY RARE Elevator! Installed in 1953.
