Floridian Elevators's video: Grandma Voice LOVELY Otis Series 1 Traction Parking Elevators at St Paul Plaza in Baltimore MD

Filmed on May 26th, 2023. Well, this is the closest I got to riding an Elevonic 401 in Baltimore! When I was out elevator hopping in Baltimore, I attempted to film in many of the office buildings and other places other filmers haven't attempted to go into, and while doing so, I found 4 Elevonic 401 systems (this building housing 1 of them), but unfortunately before I could even get the chance to make it on the elevators, security questioned me and kicked me out. I also found a High Rise Manual Freighter in one building as well as what appeared to be a bank of 2 High Rise Otis Touch Service Elevators in another, but unfortunately, the same exact thing happened. Funny enough, the building these elevators are in has 401s that serves the Office Floors, but you have to go past a security guard who requires you to Sign In before you can make it to them. It's very unfortunate that a city that seems to have a bunch of cool elevators is THIS strict when it comes to Security, but it's also not surprising given how Infamously AWFUL Crime is in Baltimore. If any of you guys have ambitions to film in any of the High Rise Office Buildings in Baltimore, I wish you the best of luck, as you're gonna need it! On a more positive note, even though I didn't get to ride the Main Elevators in this building, the Parking Elevators here are easily accessible, and while they may not be 401s (I believe these are MRQ), they are Original Series 1 Tractions, one of which has the LEGENDARY Grandma Voice! Unfortunately though, these elevators are in SAAAAAAAAD SAD Shape with Busted Indicators, Worn Out Cabs, Glitchy Indicators & Controllers, Rough & Bumpy Ride Quality, the list goes on.... The even replaced the Otis logo with a Series 5 style one...I wonder why they did that...Hmmmmmm.... I'm willing to bet the Main Office Tower Elevators here are better, but we'll never know for sure as we'll never get to ride them.
