Floridian Elevators's video: DOVIS Series M2 HIGHdraulic East Main Elevator at The DoubleTree Hotel in Breckenridge CO

Filmed in October of 2020. This is one of several elevators at what is one of the most ODDLY laid out Hotel properties I've EVER been to in my life! This Hotel is built on a Hillside with a Central Lobby/Convention Center Building, and then 2 wings with their own elevators that zig-zag off to the sides that are built alongside the hill and go up it! And if you're room is on the top floor of this hotel and you're on the upper part of the hill this hotel is on, you can just enter the hotel by crossing a bridge inside, and you won't even need to RIDE the elevators here! Which, by the way, this elevator isn't the ONLY elevator in this wing of the hotel (the other wing of the place has this same layout as well). This is the Main Hotel Elevator that only goes up to 6, there is a separate penthouse elevator that serves floors 7-10 which the video of it will be coming out very soon. But for now we'll focus on this elevator. It's a pretty nice Otis Series M2 Hydraulic Elevator, which, as the title of my video suggests, yes, it is a former Dover, with Newer Traditional fixtures to be exact. Otis did do a pretty nice modernization to it though within the past few years, and even though it would've been nice to see this thing original, not all has been lost at this place. You'll see what I mean when I upload my other vids from here. But in the meantime, enjoy a very nice Otis Series M2 Modded Elevator with a very nice looking new cab at one of the STRANGEST Hotels I've ever been in! Installed in 1983. (Dover with Newer Traditional fixtures, Relay Logic controller.) Modernized in Circa Mid to Late 2010s. (Otis with Red Series M2 Fixtures, New Cab, New Motor, New Controller, New Lantern, etc. Only the outer doors and door track remain original.
