Floridian Elevators's video: Space Needle Seattle WA Queue Elevator Rides Observatory Views 2023

@Space Needle Seattle, WA Queue, Elevator Rides & Observatory Views! (2023)
Filmed on January 2nd, 2023 with ‎@WestCoastElevators . Here we are at Seattle's Most Iconic Landmark, REVISITED Nearly 7 years after my original visit! Built in 1962, this very thin Observation Deck Tower's Highest Observation Point is 518 ft high up in the sky, and while it may not technically be the tallest building in Seattle, it is removed from the rest of Downtown, and as a result you get EXCELLENT Views of almost the Entire City Skyline as well as everything else surrounding the city! The views are absolutely STUNNING, and the experience of visiting this legendary Seattle landmark was well worth the price! And since my last visit, this place has undergone some major renovations, with new glass panels replacing the old handrails and nets in the Observatory, as well as the addition of a REVOLVING GLASS FLOOR! This Iconic Landmark is just so incredibly cool, and the recent renovations have made it better than ever before, and it has aged so remarkably well given it's age and had I known nothing about buildings and architecture, if someone had told me this place was built in the 60s, I would've been shocked! As for the elevators, they are a TON of fun, and while they may not be original to the building, they more than make up for it with the EXCELLENT Views and the cool golden design of the cars themselves! And, according to News Articles I've found online, they're about to be modernized again, this time into Compass 360, so I'm definitely glad I got this video when I did! With this all being said however, I hope you enjoy my updated tour of this ICONIC & AMAZING Landmark, and let me know what you guys think in the comments below! As for the elevators, here is some more info about them: Installed in 1962. (Otis with Black Button fixtures.) Modernized in Circa 1990s. (Otis Luxury with Series 3 fixtures, New Controllers, Redine Cabs and New Lanterns. Motors may or may not be original, cab exteriors remain original.) Indicators and Floor buttons replaced in Circa Mid 2010s with Otis Series M2 VR. To be Modernized Again in 2023. (Otis with Compass 360 Destination Dispatch, New Motors, New Controllers, Series M2 Fixtures, etc.)
