One of the best ways to keep your stylus on your record player working like new is to keep the stylus guard on when it's not in use. The easiest way to protect it is by using the included stylus guard. This prevents accidental damage or wear when the turntable isn't in use. In this video, we'll show you the proper way to install the stylus guard. This is how you install the stylus guard on the Audio Technica AT95E that comes with the RT81. Simply slide is on or off without touching the needle. You can install the stylus guard on the AT91, which comes with the RT80, the exact same way. This is the Ortofon OM10 which comes with the RT82. Much like the AT91, and AT95E, you can simply slide it on and off. The Ortofon 2M Red that comes with the RT83 is a bit different. To remove it, hold down the clip at the back like so. When you put it back on, it's best to come at this one from underneath, as opposed to sliding it on or off. The stylus guard is identical to the 2M Blue, which is available on the RT84 and RT85.
