Fluance Audio's video: How to Setup Ai41 Ai61 Powered Bookshelf Speakers with RCA USB Optical and Bluetooth Connections

In this video, we'll show you how to setup the Fluance Ai41 and Ai61 speakers, as well as explain some differences between the two pairs of powered bookshelf speakers. The Ai41 and Ai61 speakers both include RCA, Bluetooth, Optical, and Subwoofer Out connections, and the Ai61 includes a USB-C audio input. The two speakers function the same way although they have some differences. First, in the driver size. The size of the cabinets. The Ai61 has a USB-C audio input. And the two sets of speakers have a different frequency response, power handling, SPL, and DSP tuning. You will receive both an active speaker and a passive speaker. The active speaker is the right channel, and includes the amplifier that will power the passive speaker. You can tell which one is active because of the control knob and IR sensor on the front, and inputs on the back. To set them up, first, connect the two speakers using speaker wire. You can use the included speaker wire, or your own. Loosen the binding posts, insert the wire, and tighten. If you prefer, you can even use banana plugs. Make sure that they are connected properly - red-to-red and black-to-black. And that they're tight. Then, plug in the power cable to the active speaker, connect it to power, and flip the on/off switch on the back of the active speaker. The LED will show red, indicates it is in standby. Use the remote control, or press the control knob, to turn it on. The LED will indicate which input the speaker is using. Green for RCA, white for optical, purple for USB audio, and Blue for Bluetooth. Bluetooth will blink blue when it's in pairing mode, and show solid blue when a device is connected. The unpair a device, use the remote control, or press the Bluetooth reset button on the back. You can use the control knob on the front to control the volume up and down. To return the speaker to standby mode, press and hold the control knob until the LED turns red. The LED also indicates the amount of treble and bass, which is on a scale of -5 to 5. When adjusting the treble and bass, the LED will flash twice when you reach -5 or 5. It will also flash the source color when you reach 0, or, a flat EQ. The double flash also occurs when you've hit the minimum or maximum volume. The included remote includes the following functions. Power. Mute. Volume up and down. Forward and Back buttons which can be used with Bluetooth devices . Play/pause. Source. LED brightness. Treble and bass up and down. To plug in a device, simple plug into the Active Speaker and select the appropriate source. When using the Optical out you may have to select Optical in your TV settings, or enable external audio. Also, Dolby Digital Audio or DTS is not supported. In your source device's audio settings, ensure Dolby Digital is turned off, and select PCM or Stereo. Thank you so much for watching.
