Franklin BioScience recently conducted multiple controlled experiments to determine what lighting solution they would use in their new Las Vegas, NV cannabis cultivation facility. Fluence outperformed the incumbent 1000W DE HPS as well as other LED solutions. Results to-date include 85 grams-per-square-foot of canopy, 2.1 grams-per-watt and increased potency across multiple genetics over historical HPS averages. Their new vertical farm deploys Fluence SPYDRx PLUS on the bottom layer and Fluence VYPRx PLUS on the top layer of rolling-rack systems from Greenhaus Industries in flower, and Fluence SPYDRx PLUS and Fluence RAZRx in vegetative.
