Fluffle Warrior's video: Speedpaint 4 Underrated Disney Mothers

Hello everyone! :D It is time for this weeks Speedpaint. This time featuring two of Disney's most underrated mothers! Story to this picture: Sarafina walked out into the night. Out of Priderock that was once considered her home. Since Mufasa’s death a lot of things had changed. She wandered around the the dead trees and destroyed wasteland, to the place were she said goodbye to her daughter, many nights earlier. Ever since she was gone, Sarafina wasn’t able to sleep. Sorrow and fear kept up up all night. Would her beloved child ever return? Would she be able to see her again? All those thoughts tormented her each and every night. “Sarafina?”, said a soft voice in the distance. A glimpse of hope arised, that it might just be her child, but it was her close friend Sarabi, coming after her. Unable to hide her disappointment, Sarafina lowered her head, still looking into the distance, hoping to see Nala return. Without another word spoken Sarabi walked up to her friend, fully knowing in how much pain she was in. “She will return. She must return… I need her back.”, Sarafina whispered to herself, while Sarabi stood by her side. I really hope you like this story! Please keep in mind that English isn't my first language so please have mercy on the grammar xD For me personally Sarafina deserved so much more screentime, especially once Simba and Nala returned. And I fully understand why they didn't do it. I rewatched the original Lion King over a hundred times and to be honest, there is just no point in were a scene would fit. It probably would have ruined the entire climax if we switched the focus from Scar and Simba to Sarafina and Nala. But couldn't they have AT LEAST show her?! We see some random lionesses, but never see Sarafina again. Maybe she died, but the chances of them just forgetting her is way bigger to be honest. Ranting over.
