First of all I want to apologize to upload this video a bit late due to my busy schedule. I flew on this flight especially for the inaugural flight of the MAX. I started in Hyderabad on 30th June night on an Air India flight from HYD to BOM on an A319. There was a layover in BOM for about 6 hours of which half of the time I spent in the GVK lounge. The boarding started early and we were soon seated in the aircraft. The new aircraft smell was great :P The new cabin looks completely different from the current cabins. I was seated in economy class and my seat was 14A. The taxi to the runway was quick and we took off from RWY 27. The cabin was really quieter compared to other aircrafts. The faux leather seats were comfortable and the legroom was pretty good. The meal offered was breakfast. It consisted of a chicken casserole and a cupcake in a box with a small water bottle. It was okay but not that good. Taking about the service, it was quite amazing. The crew were very friendly. The flight landed ahead of schedule. I was most excited for the water canon solute as I've never seen one. However, it turned out there was no water canon solute :( The great part is that I got to meet few aviation enthusiasts on this flight and were fun to hang out with :) My Final Review is that, this was an Amazing flight and a memorable one as it was the first ever flight of the 737 MAX series of an Indian airline. And yes, I am uploading a new video after a whole year!!! I will try to upload more often.
