Answer is...good when it works. Don't see this feature used too much and I discovered why - making long videos like this is a real pain because, well...GoPro doesn't like you and make it really user unfriendly. Its great for single clip uses. If you noticed I had to have 2 copies of each clip (with/without GPS) which were overlaid. To make matters worse GPS clips can only be made and exported via your phone which takes a long time and then transferred to PC. Its real cool when the features work but they can also work and not provided correct data. For example run at 2:30 shows speeds far higher than they should be. Also after 1st day of shooting I realised none of the clips I recorded actually had usable GPS data even though I had a good signal, so I had to reshoot the whole thing.
