അടൂരിലെ ഊണും കാസർഗോട്ടെ കോഴി പൊരിച്ചതും ഒന്നിച്ചൊരു വിഡിയോയിൽ. രണ്ടും കുറച്ചു നാൾ മുമ്പ് പോയത് ആണ് കേട്ടോ. അടൂരിൽ മലബാർ സ്റ്റോറീസിൽ പോയത് ബിരിയാണി കഴിക്കുവാൻ വേണ്ടി ആണെങ്കിലും അവിടെ ചെന്ന് നല്ല നാടൻ ഊണ് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ കാലു മാറി. അയക്കൂറ ഫ്രൈ കൂടി ഒരു സാമാന്യം നല്ല ഊണ്. കാസർഗോട്ടെ കപ്പയും കോഴി പൊരിച്ചതും രുചിച്ചതു കർണാടകം യാത്രക്ക് പോകുമ്പോൾ ആണ്. ലോക്കഡോൺ ഒക്കെ ആയി ചുമ്മാ വീട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പഴയ കുറച്ചു ഓർമ്മകൾ ഒരു രസം. This video has two eateries from two places in Kerala. Lunch from Malabar Stories in Adoor, and Cassava with chicken fry from a small shop in Kasaragod. Both were done sometime back, but these are some memories to pass time during lockdown. മലബാർ സ്റ്റോറീസ് ഞാൻ ഒത്തിരി നാൾ മുമ്പ് പോയതാണ് കേട്ടോ. വീഡിയോ നീളം കുറവാണ് എന്ന് തോന്നിയത് കൊണ്ട് യുട്യൂബിൽ പബ്ലിഷ് ചെയ്തില്ല എന്ന് മാത്രം. പോയത് ബിരിയാണി കഴിക്കാൻ വേണ്ടി. അവിടെ ബിരിയാണിയുടെ പാചകവും കണ്ടു, പക്ഷെ നാടൻ ഊണ് ഇലയിൽ വിളമ്പുന്ന കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ഊണ് കഴിക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. അയക്കൂറ മീൻ വറുത്ത് കൂട്ടിയുള്ള ഊണ് എനിക്ക് ഇഷ്ടം ആയി. വിഷ്ണു കഴിച്ചത് നെയ്ച്ചോറും ചിക്കൻ കുറുമായും. രണ്ടും രുചി നല്ലത് എന്നാണ് വിഷ്ണു പറഞ്ഞത്. കാസർഗോട്ട് ഫയാസിന്റെ ഒപ്പം ഒരു ചെറിയ കടയിൽ പോയി. കപ്പയും കോഴി പൊരിച്ചതും ആണ് അവിടുത്തെ സ്പെഷ്യൽ. ഞാൻ മുട്ടയപ്പവും രുചിച്ചു, എല്ലാം നല്ല നാടൻ രുചി ഉള്ള ഭക്ഷണം. I went to Malabar Stories, Adoor, for tasting biriyani. But the sight of traditional Kerala meals served in banana leaf made me change my mind. It was a decent lunch with some vegetarian and fish recipes. Cassava with chicken fry from Kasargod was another good food that I tasted on the way to Karnataka. The shop is famous for Kappa kozhi porichathu ( cassava with chicken fry). I tasted muttayappam as well, which was soft and fluffy.
