Subscribe Food N Travel: https://goo.gl/pZpo3E Visit our blog: FoodNTravel.in Watch our Mushroom Farm video: https://youtu.be/WwFfKeNfw_g Recipe of Shredded Mushroom Coconut Milk Masala: INGREDIENTS: Oyster Mushroom: 400 gm Coconut oil (cooking oil): 2 tbsp Asafoetida: 0.5 tsp Onions (chopped): 2 nos medium sized Curry leaves: a few Ginger (crushed): a small piece Garlic (crushed): 8 to 10 cloves Turmeric powder: 0.5 tsp Cumin powder: 0.5 tsp Coriander powder: 1.5 tsp Red chilly powder: 1 tbsp Kashmiri chilly powder: 1 tbsp Finely chopped tomatoes: 2 medium sized Crushed pepper: 1 tsp Lime juice: from 1/2 lime (optional) Thick coconut milk: 1/2 cup Salt to taste Broccoli: 1 cup crushed pepper: 1/2 tsp METHOD: Step 1: Shred 400 gram mushrooms into thinner strips Step 2: Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan Step 3: Add 1/2 tsp asafoetida Step 4: Add 2 finely chopped onions Step 5: Saute till translucent Step 6: Add a few curry leaves Step 7: Add crushed garlic and ginger Step 8: Stirr fry ginger and garlic Step 9: Add 0.5 tsp of turmeric powder Step 10: Add 0.5 tsp cumin powder Step 11: Add 1.5 tsp coriander powder Step 12: Add 1 tbsp red chilly powder Step 13: Add 1 tbsp Kashmiri chilly powder Step 14: Stir and cook for a while Step 15: Add 2 medium sized finely chopped tomatoes Step 16: Mix well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes Step 17: When the oil separates, add the shredded mushrooms and mix gently Step 18: Add salt Step 19: Cover with a lid and cook on low flame for about 10 minutes Step 20: Remove the lid and add 1 tsp of crushed pepper Step 21: Squeeze juice from half of a lime (optional) Step 22: Mix and cook for minute and then turn the flame off Step 23: Add 1/2 cup of thick coconut milk. Step 24: Wash clean and cut broccoli. Heat a pan and add coconut oil to it. Once the oil is hot, add broccoli to it, Sauté broccoli and add crushed pepper. Mix and cook for 5 to 7 minutes and serve with mushroom masala. Your shredded Mushroom coconut masala is ready to be served.
