Ingredients: For seasoning: 1 1/4 to 1.5 cup of small sambar/pearl onion(clean it and keep it ready) 3 tsp oil pinch of hing 1/2 tsp mustard seeds Also we need: small keylime size tamarind (wash and soak in water) 1 cup water 4 to 5 curry leaves 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1 to 2 tbsp jaggery 1 tsp salt or salt to taste chopped coriander leaves to garnish For masale: 1/2 tsp oil 1 tsp Urad dal 1 tsp chana dal 1/4 tsp methi seeds 1/2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds 1 tsp coriander seeds 1/2 tsp sesame seeds 4 to 5 red chillies(more or less) 1/2 cup grated fresh coconut(more or less)
