@मातृभूमि पे मर मिटने वाले सच्चे देखभक्तो को आज 2 गज जमीन नसीब नहीं Banjara Market Demolished
Banjara Market - the 15 years old handicraft market in Sector 56 had been a popular haunt for everyone living in Delhi NCR as a one-stop shop for Ceramics, Cheap Handicrafts, Furniture and other Interior Décor Items. It has been demolished and all the Poor Banjaras who were selling these amazing artifacts have been shooed away. Look at the irony of our country, where the real patriot’s homes are demolished. These poor people who were making their living by selling such amazing arts and crafts items, furniture, decorative items and many more amazing stuffs, have been thrown on the road. Who are these Banjaras? When Maharana Pratap was in war with the Mughals in the sixteenth century, the ancestors of the blacksmiths were fighters in the army of Maharana Pratap. Maharana was defeated in the struggle with the Mughals and his kingdom Mewar went in the hands of the Mughals. These steel soldiers of the defeated Maharana’s army swore that they would not return to their home in Mewar until Mewar and Chittod were again ruled by Maharana Pratap Singh Sisodia. Decades, centuries have passed, but they have not broken their promise. Even today, these people, bound by that pledge and roam around the country. Will the government do something substantial for them and provide them a permanent pace to run their shops so that they can make a living.
