For the Love of Physics's video: Relativistic Kinetic Energy Answer to why nothing can travel faster than the speed of light

@Relativistic Kinetic Energy | Answer to why nothing can travel faster than the speed of light?
What is Relativistic Kinetic Energy? Why can no object travel faster than the speed of light, no matter how much energy you provide? These are the questions I try to answer in today's video. First we will discuss the mass energy equivalence principle. Then we will talk about relativistic energy, mass and relativistic kinetic energy. I will show how the Relativistic kinetic energy can be approximated to Newtonian kinetic energy under low velocity approximations. Using Work energy theorem we can obtain the energy needed to accelerate an object to the speed of light. As it turns out we need to provide infinite energy to accelerate an object to light speed; which simply means that the speed of light is a speed barrier in our Universe. Nothing can reach the speed of light (except massless particles) 00:00 Relativistic Kinetic Energy 09:19 Why can nothing travel faster than light? ▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱ 💖Support https://www.patreon.com/dibyajyotidas 🌷 Donate https://paypal.me/FortheLoveofPhysics Telegram https://t.me/FortheLoveofPhysicsYT ▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱▱
