Fplus J's video: Varanasi Ganges River Ceremony Ganga Aarti - Frank Jen Travel India 22

@Varanasi Ganges River Ceremony Ganga Aarti - Frank & Jen Travel India 22
We have made it to the holiest city for Hindus and one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, Varanasi. Every night by the Ganges River at the main Dasaswamedh Ghat, a Ganga Aarti ceremony is performed with puja, fire, songs, and choreographed dance. Diya offerings are floated down the river, bells ring throughout the night air, as we wait for sunrise, and the morning river boat cruise. The Ganga Aarti is performed at three cities in India nightly, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Varanasi. Technical notes: Shot in 1080p HD with a Canon 60D camera. Special thanks to Stephen McKenzie / Ambiophyle for letting us use his track "Birth of Light"!
