Fragments's video: From Rusty Old Rasp to Shiny Kiridashi Reclaimed DIY

Hi, I found this old rusty rasp next to scrap metal container while I was on my way to the workshop. Right after I picked it up I knew that I wanted to make a Kiridashi out of it. I unfortunately lost the footage of grinding and polishing the underside of the blade. I had to do this later because during the polishing and sharpening one of the dimples "moved" into the cutting edge (or vise versa). This project was filmed with my new Nikon D5300 which I used for the second time to film one of my projects. I hope you like the better quality of the video.
