Framework Tech's video: Javascript App Project with Vanilla JavaScript Framework Coding Show Ep 005

In this episode of the Framework Coding Show, Mark builds an entire app using Vanilla JavaScript. What is Vanilla JavaScript, you ask? It's core JavaScript without the benefit of any external libraries or Frameworks. In other words, "Vanilla." With the number of libraries in use today, its often a good idea to go back-to-basics and look at what can be accomplished with plain old, JavaScript Code. In this video, you'll get an entire JavaScript app tutorial, as Mark demonstrates how to build the app step-by-step. And this JavaScript app is pretty cool. The app uses Google's JavaScript Civil Data API to obtain government representatives for any address in the US. You'll explore how to build an app interface in plain HTML and CSS. In addition, Mark will demonstrate Javascript's Fetch() API which allows you to easily get data from an external API server. Finally, you'll see how a JavaScript promise is used in the app to handle the data that's returned in this JavaScript API application.
