Barn conversion / extension designed and built by bespokebuilding.com the structure is a timber frame with polyurethane ridge board insulation fitted into external stud wall and foamed to achieve an air tight insulation floor, wall and ceiling. A ply outer skin is nailed over timber structure, reinforcing and strengthening the building. Tanalised timber battens and breather membrane are placed over the ply wood and a feather edge board is fixed to finish the external facade. Interior plaster boarded and plastered. The space inside is to achieve a kitchen and bathroom within the interior space, this project is for low occasional occupancy / guest apartment for a couple.
