Francis Lola's video: cook with fran jenny s shrimp toast

Back with another cooking video featuring one of my mom's recipes! I LOVE this shrimp toast. She used to make this for me all the time as a kid, and it really takes me back to my childhood. She finally showed me how to make it, and it's surprisingly SO easy. Hope you guys enjoyed this one! [ jenny's shrimp toast recipe ] INGREDIENTS: 1 lb ground shrimp 2 stalks minced green onion 2 stalks celery 1/4 cup of minced white onion s + p to taste 1 tsp sugar 1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder 1/2 cup mayonaise 1 tsp garlic salt Italian style 6 cheese blend 2 loafs of Vietnamese baguette DIRECTIONS: Preheat your oven at 400 degrees farenheit Take your peeled and deveined shrimp and ground in the food processor or with your knife until it becomes a paste. Mince your celery, onion and green onion. Add everything into a large bowl and combine with salt, pepper, sugar, chicken bouillon powder, mayonnaise, and garlic salt. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated. Slice your baguette into individual pieces, about 4-5 inches. Then slice each piece in half long ways. Top all of your baguette pieces with a thin layer of your shrimp mixture, and finish each piece with a layer of cheese. Set onto a baking tray and bake for 12 minutes on the middle rack. Remove and place on serving tray.
