In this video I setup my favourite tarp shelter the assault shelter it is formed using a 10 ft x 13 ft aqua quest defender king camo tarp it has a full ground sheet and doors it is 6.5 ft tall 10 ft wide at the base of the doors and 6.5 ft deep. It is a great shelter for use in heavy rain wet environments. This shelter is large enough for 1 person and their backpack and gear or 2 smaller people without their gear inside. I setup a few fast lashed tripods for the camera and hanging my grill over the fire and I show the process of production of char material for use in fire starting.
