@Berlin, Germany: Rare WW2 Archives & Historic Berlin Wall District
November 9, 1989 is the day that The Wall suddenly fell down after 28 years of dividing Germany and Berlin into East and West. The Eastern side was Communist, controlled by the former Soviet Union, also known as the USSR. Berlin, on the other hand, was under the command of the United States of America. Video recorded and edited by: Otis 'Cue' Pate Featuring: Lynn Pate Note: Both Lynn & Otis Pate are Frankfurt American High School Alumni... Both graduated from FAHS in 1985. FAHS, was located in Frankfurt Germany from the late 1940's up until 1995. Lynn & Otis still reside in Frankfurt, on the south-side, in Sachsenhausen, although Lynn grew up and lived in Darmstadt during her High School years. Darmstadt is about 35 minutes south of Frankfurt's city central.
