Fraz Goalkeeping's video: ACL Surgery ACL Recovery Week 1

@ACL Surgery (ACL Recovery Week 1)
In September of 2019, I tore the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in my right knee. An ACL tear requires knee ACL surgery, which I had in August 2020. With the ACL reconstruction surgery, the ACL recovery process can be extremely lengthy, usually around 9 to 12 months to return to full sport. This is the first video in my series documenting my return to sport after my ACL injury treatment, and specifically in this video showing my ACL reconstruction surgery recovery. It is vital to start physiotherapy as soon as possible post ACL surgery, and in this video, I show you some ACL recovery exercises week 1 alongside some post ACL surgery tips. The videos in this series will be posted every 2 to 3 weeks, displaying my ACL recovery story with my ACL injury recovery the main part of the series. ACL reconstruction rehabilitation can be a hard and long process, hence the difficult ACL recovery process. If you have been through an ACL surgery recovery journey, be sure to comment your tips and advice down below, it would be appreciated! Once my ACL surgery is done, my focus will be on healing. If I follow the recommendations listed from my physio, I should have a smooth ACL rehab recovery after surgery. The ACL, or Anterior Cruciate Ligament, is one of several ligaments that stabilize your knee. If you've injured or completely torn your ACL, you may experience your knee "giving out" when you need to quickly change direction. Hopefully, this series will help guide other athletes through their post-surgery rehab to get them back up to speed. With time and patience, you can recover from your ACL injury and get back to the sports and activities that you love. This is not medical advice! The content is intended to be educational and entertaining for YouTube. If you are a patient, seek advice from a health care professional. In this video I showed you exercises to be done during ACL reconstruction rehab phase 1, with my ACL surgery physiotherapy the focus.
