Front Towards Gamer's video: Bloodborne Guides: Defeating Rom the Vacuous Spider

If your brave enough to venture to bottom of the moonside lake you'll find Rom the Vacuous Spider. He isn't aggressive unless provoked approach him then apply any buffs and heal up before attack his side. As you can see his head is covered with a huge skull and very resilient to physical attacks so head to his side and hack away. Once you attack an army of baby spiders will descend. Get out of there and take them one by one. Draw them away if you can. Like Rom they have armored heads to attack they're side or rear. Once they are defeated go back to attacking Rom. When his health gets below two thirds he will disappear and reappear further away. Take this time to heal if needed and head on over. Again you'll have to deal with an army of small spiders and also Rom has started to use magic now. When he stands upright on his back legs he will cause ice boulders to rain from the sky directly over you.If he rolls sideways onto his back Ice will rise up from the floor around him. Deal with the smaller spiders by drawing them away and picking them off one by one but keep an eye Rom and dodge his ice magic if you can. Once all small spiders have been dealt with go attack Rom from the side. When his health reaches a third he will teleport again. Again he summons and army of spiders and use the same ice attacks from before. This time if you get close he will either thrash around and knock you down or raise his head and tail and use a Ice blast to push you away. Deal with his small spiders as before. Get close to trigger either a thrash attack of ice blast and attack after. Back out trigger another attack and go attack his sides.
