Front Towards Gamer's video: Bloodborne Guide: Celestial Emissary

Its time to face off against the Celestial Emissary. This fight is a little unusual. Similar to the Royal Rat Vanguard of Dark Souls 2 we're trying to hunt the boss who is almost identical to all the other enemies on screen. Try to group them all together then switch a weapon with a wide arc ideally the Hunters Axe if you have it. Clear out a small group and keep an eye on the bosses health. When you hit the right enemy his health will go down. Target this one mushroom enemy and lay into him. Watch out for more mushroom coming don't let them surround you and focus on the boss. If you have to lead the group away and take care of them then move back in to the fight. Once his health hits half way he'll explode in a cloud of blue gas and grow to enormous proportions. When he does again take care of the group of enemies and target him. If you have the cannon now's the time to use it. He's extremely slow and doesn't dodge often. The cannon is perfect for sniping him at a distance. After two hits with an upgraded cannon he'll be close to dead. Focus on him dodge his punches and if he starts to charge his magical attack you can stagger him out of it if you attack him fast enough if not just retreat and take cover.
