Fur Takers of America Trappers College The Professional Trapper's College Furbearer Management Short Course. The College is held at YMCA Camp Potawotami, 7255 E. 700 S., Wolcottville, IN 46795. Field exercises will take place at the Pigeon River Fish and Wildlife Area. WHAT COMES WITH THE COLLEGE? -70 Contact hours, Certificate of Completion from Purdue University. -One Copy of Trapping Rocky Mountain Furbearers. -Several Trapping Books. -FTA Certificate and Rating. -Networking with trapper's and wildlife professionals from across the country. -Lure Samples -College Graduate Patch. THE CURRICULUM Classes run 7:30am to 10:00pm daily, approximately 8 hours are spent in the field and 4 hours in the classroom. Field classes are small to ensure students receive 1 on 1 attention from instructors.
